The fairy road to Fablehaven is beset by verdant fields and trees that whisper in the wind, like secrets that can barely contain themselves, caught somewhere between laughing and dancing. The brown dirt road itself is worn with travel and while the occasional smooth stones in pinks, purples greens and blues crop out ever so slightly, the road is traveled with ease by foot, or cart, or fairy vehicle. In the air is a reassuring feeling that there is much to see in Fablehaven and Dianthe is delighted just to be walking it, while Musea has been aching to see the famed Storytellers Cottage. Occasionally, Dianthe catches a glimpse of something magical flashing in the corners of her vision, is it a creature perhaps that her eyes glimpse, something catching the fading light, a unicorn, perhaps a fairy. Dianthe pined for the adventure of chasing magical creatures into the Magistery Woods, but those adventures would have to wait for now, Fablehaven awaited!
