The girls were in awe of the magic that surrounded them. As they continued their walk, they discovered exotic plants, some of which were sleeping, others were singing, and still others ensconsced vibrant glowing lights dancing across petal to petal.
As they continued their walk, they came across a group of spequines grazing in a meadow. The girls watched in amazement as the horse-like creatures shimmered in the sunlight, their coats changing color as they moved, while their flowing manes defied gravity flying around them as if caught in an ethereal breeze.
“Spequines come from a realm where the sun is unstable, and so while it appears to us as shifting its colours, however, where it comes from it was just protecting itself against the variable radiation being output by the planet’s star.”
“Can I ride it?” Asked Aurorae with a sense of excitement and intrigue, “they look so beautiful and kind”.
Arwen beckoned Aurorae as she cautiously as she carefully approached a beautiful spequine that was grazing nearby. “Ride them yes? Then you can, if you ask them in the proper manner, but I would be careful not to upset them, as they might just disappear into the light and leave you stranded. Come and say hello dear.”
Aurorae walked gently up to the majestic creature and began to stroke its long and beautiful neck, when suddenly she was startled and caught of guard, it was a strange and confident voice inside her head!
“Hello dear, oh yes that feels wonderful!”
Both Dianthe and Musea laughed mischievously. Aurorae still startled said “what was that!?”
“That was the spequine dear, they can communicate telepathically when touched!”
