The transcendent man
Is
The sacrificial man.

Needing to prove his value,
Because he has none
In himself,
Only in the community,
Where he finds glory,
And worship –
He forms hierarchies of inheritance,
So the sacrificial man,
Can rise in the shadow
Of the transcendent.

Stars within his grasp,
Her tide is rising,
To reflect both,
His ambition,
And the darkness,
Waiting for him.
