Necrophilia and rambling bones,
Decrypting cryptic scripts-
Words remain that nobody owns,
Egyptian hieroglyphs –

Books of the dead still open
Turn into your favourite part,
Dead poets roaring back to life –
In broken time and hearts.

I haven’t read the modern love
Writing on bathroom walls –
I once tortured a gorgeous poet
When I said nothing at all –

Groaning like the walking dead,
Anglers circling near –
Mermaids swim the depths below,
Singing out – do you want to hear?
